SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS
Any attack against the family is an attack against the entire humanity. Nothing destroys the world in a speed of light like broken homes and marriages. While humanity is agonizing, the enemy is celebrating and recruiting more people into his kingdom to destroy more lives especially our homes.

The number one threat to the lives of human beings all over the world today is not poverty, tendencies of war and bloody quest for power, but the tendencies for many homes to be apart. The world is becoming a too busy place, with so many people running helter-skelter with deep sense of dissatisfaction, worries, hatred and insecurity. Homes and families have become battlegrounds with everyday countless numbers of divorces, murder, heartbreaks and wounds, such that most people are no longer sure if their marriages and relationships can survive.

More so, the 21st century has gotten to the time where nobody wants to trust anybody, there is unfaithfulness both in relationships and in marriages, suspicion is all over the place. In all these, no one wants to accept the blame. Everybody believes everything he does is right and no one has the right to question him or her.
These unhealthy behaviors have given birth to so many broken homes, marriages, and abandoned children, husbands and wives. Many men, women and children are crying and praying for the return of their prodigal wives, husbands, mothers and fathers respectively. Many men and women are not in their right senses today. Their consciences have been stolen away from them by the clubs and beer parlors around us. The hedges around our families are continuously being destroyed.
Some things we called enjoyment and funs today are nothing but traps. They will steal our value, kill our joy and purpose for living, and eventually destroy our lives completely.
What about creating a platform where couples and Young Christians in Relationship can go out to relax in a conducive atmosphere and comeback home motivated on how to love each other the more?

The CTC Mandate

The “Couples Tune-Up Conference (CTC)” is a program specially designed for the Couples that is aimed at becoming a platform for breeding healthy and godly relationships among the couples and family at large.
PURPOSE
Providing a complete package for the, spiritual and socio-economic wellbeing of the family.

VISION
Helping couples solve their deepest and depressing experiences in their lives through the teaching of Biblically sound principles

Goals

  • To be the Largest Gathering of Couples within Kaduna Metropolis that gives couples the necessary training needed for a successful marriage
  • To provide realistic expectations of what marriage is like, both the good and the difficult so couples could know what to expect and how to handle challenging times appropriately when they arise
  • To help create a vision on how to develop a God-honoring marriage. Couples would be encouraged to view marriage as a covenant and not a contract.
  • Couples Tune-Up will help the couples learn essential skills on how to work through past wounds and pockets of unforgiving in their marriages.
  • To teach on how to better manage conflict in order to avoid the extremes of stonewalling on one side and exploding on the other. Couples will learn how to constructively discuss difficult topics by speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 NIV)
  • To teach essential skills on how to cultivate emotional and physical intimacy and how they are linked
  • To help couples develop a sense of hope that there are solutions to the challenges they face and things can get better.
  • To create a conducive atmosphere in which couples will have uninterrupted time to spend with their spouse without distractions
  • Creating a platform where couples will meet and connect with other like-minded couples that are seeking to build stronger marriages
  • To help Couples to be able to find a marriage mentor thereby creating the opportunity for them to build stronger understanding of God’s plans and purposes of marriage
